The Family Bike Touring Guide

It’s not long now until our first family bike tour through France. It has taken us a good few weeks to plan the route (Jon’s department), book accommodation (for the ride, for our week’s holiday afterwards and for overnight stays on the long journey between the UK and Southern France). Plus the bookings for various ferries and train tickets along the route.

So now everything is booked, it’s onto thinking about what we will need to take and what equipment we need to buy. We want to travel as light as we can to make the cycling easier.

Somehow I feel like the route and bookings have been the easy part of this adventure. Let’s see what the coming weeks hold.
